Use of Hubbard Recreation and Natural Area
Work to install a new Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) on the drinking water line under Nowland Farm Road will begin on Monday June 12, 2023. Homes impacted by an associated water shut down will be notified by the South Burlington Water Department ahead of construction. The majority of work will take place outside the paved portion of the road, but there may be short periods where the road is reduced to a single lane to facilitate construction. Motorists should not expect significant delays. The contractor will be staging equipment in the nearby Hubbard Recreation and Natural Area parking lot. The lot will still be open to the public, but a portion of the space will be utilized for equipment/vehicle parking and storage.
