Community Celebrates Donna Kinville, Welcomes New City Clerk Holly Rees

At SB Nite Out on August 17, the weather cooperated just long enough for the South Burlington community to gather and give thanks to retiring City Clerk Donna Kinville. City Council Chair Helen Riehle read the City's resolution to declare August 17th Donna S. Kinville Day, and surprised Donna with an announcement that the official vault at 180 Market St. would be named in her honor. In Donna's final act as city clerk, she ensured the office would be in good hands with the swearing-in of her successor, Holly Rees. Since May, Holly has served as both city clerk and director of the South Burlington Recreation and Parks Department (a position she's held since 2018). Now, Holly has fully stepped into her new role, joining Pam Correia, deputy city clerk, and Alyssa Colby, assistant city clerk, behind the counter at City Hall. Our sincere thanks to Donna for her service and a warm welcome to Holly in her new role.
