SB Police Rescue Animals from Unsanitary Conditions

The South Burlington Police Officers Rescue Six Dogs, One Cat and one Rabbit on September 26, South Burlington Police responded to a report of six dogs that were running loose in the parking lot of 1184 Shelburne Road.

Officers discovered three adults living in unsanitary conditions in an RV at that address, along with the six dogs, a cat, and a pet rabbit. The owner of the cat and rabbit relinquished them, while officers seized the dogs and removed them to a safe location pending court proceedings. Thanks to the work of the responding officers, all of the animals have been treated or will receive medical attention from a veterinary office.
