South Burlington Fire Recruits Complete First Year
The first proud moment of a firefighter’s career is taking the firefighter's oath and beginning their first day of service. The second is when they complete probation and get to trade their orange shield for a black one they can call their own.
Congratulations to Firefighter/AEMT Annika Coloney and Firefighter/EMT Logan Hipes for completing their first year of service and making it through the arduous first year of skills, checklists, street tests, and practical evaluations, earning them the rank of Firefighter for the City of South Burlington!
