Join us for a Walk/Bike Audit on Wednesday, January 17! The South Burlington Safe Routes to School Task Force and Local Motion want to hear from students, parents, faculty, staff and other community members about walking, biking, or rolling (using wheelchairs or other assistive devices) on Dorset Street from Aspen Drive to Kennedy Drive in South Burlington. Your input will be used to identify safety recommendations for this stretch of road.
To take part, come to the South Burlington High School lobby between 1:30 and 4:30 PM. We'll give you instructions, an audit form and pen, and a safety vest. You can do the audit on your own or with a small group. If you're in middle school or younger, please bring an adult with you. Return the completed audit to the check-in desk in the high school lobby. You might even win a coupon for some Ben and Jerry’s ice cream!
The audit will happen rain or shine. But, if schools are closed because of bad weather, we will not do the audit.
